Now You Will Need 16-Digit Virtual ID & limited KYC to Secure Aadhaar Data Privacy

hindustantimes 1. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has introduced Virtual ID and limited KYC for Aadhaar number holders to eradicate privacy and security concerns over sharing of Aadhaar details.

4. The virtual ID will be a temporary, revocable 16-digit random number mapped with the Aadhaar number. It will not be possible to extract the Aadhaar number from the virtual ID.
