1. What started out as a fun prank has become like an annual festival to celebrate silliness with various cities participating every year.

2. In 2002, seven guys of New York-based comedy collective Improv Everywhere rode a subway train without pants to shot a prank video and public remained unaware of the video until it was uploaded on YouTube in 2007.

3. The Organizers of the event say there is “no agenda for the event apart from a desire to make others laugh and smile.”

4. Though the date for the event keeps changing, it always takes place in the freezing months when most of the participating cities are snow-clad.

5. What started out as a funny prank in New York has now spread to cities like Moscow, Boston, Prague, Berlin etc.
