2. Milkha Singh
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directed ‘Bhag Milkha Bhag’ is one of the best biopics ever produced in India. Farhan Akhtar portrayed the character of Milkha Singh in best possible way which also earned him critical acclamations. 3. Sachin- A Billion Dreams
The film was like a festival for Indians which earned Rs 17 crore in just two days of its release. For this movie Sachin tendulkar charged Rs 40 crore for revealing his life story on the screen.
4. Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Sushant Singh’s acting was a perfection in the movie ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story ‘, this movie became one of the highest grossing movies of the year and gave that recognition which actor Sushant Singh deserved as an artist. Former captain of Indian Cricket Team M S Dhoni charged a hefty amount of Rs 80 crore for the film made on his life.
5. Mahavir Singh Phogat
Aamir Khan starring film ‘Dangal’ broke all possible records and earned approximately Rs 2,000 crore worldwide. However, former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat asked for 80 lakh Rs only.
6. Pan Singh Tomar
Tigmanshu Dhuliya tried to bring an amazing story alive with film National Award winning ‘Pan Singh Tomar’, which also earned a National Award to Irrfan Khan for portraying Pan Singh’s character to perfection. For this successful movie the legend Pan Singh Tomar asked for only Rs 15 lakh to let the makers portray his life on the screen.
7. Mohammad Azharuddin
The former Indian cricket and Captain Mohammad Azharuddin did not charge a single penny for the film made on his life starring Emraan Hashmi.
